Alice's eldest daughter, Anna, tests positive for the Alzheimer's gene; Anna's unborn twins test negative, as does Alice's son Tom, a junior doctor. Alice's youngest daughter, aspiring actor Lydia, decides not to be tested.

Alice memorizes words that she writes on a blackboard and sets herself personal questions on her phone that she answers every morning. She hides sleeping pills in her room and records a video message instructing her future self to commit suicide when she can no longer answer the questions. As her disease advances, she loses her job, unable to give focused lectures. She becomes lost searching for the bathroom in her own home and wets herself, and does not recognize Lydia after seeing her perform in a play.

John is offered a job at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Alice asks him to postpone it, but he feels this is impossible. At her doctor's suggestion, Alice delivers a speech at an Alzheimer's conference about her experience with the disease, using a highlighter to remind herself which parts of the speech she has already spoken, and receives a standing ovation.

Alice begins to have difficulty answering her phone questions or spelling them correctly. She loses her phone, causing her anxiety; her husband finds it a month later. Alice visits Anna in the hospital to meet her newborn twin grandchildren, but does not recognize her daughter. After a video call with Lydia, Alice inadvertently opens the video with the suicide instructions. With some difficulty, she finds the pills and is about to swallow them, but is interrupted by the arrival of her carer and spills the sleeping pills.

John resolves to move to Minnesota and Lydia moves back from California to care for her worsening mother. Lydia reads Alice a section of the play Angels in America and asks her mother what she thinks it is about. Alice, now barely able to speak, responds with a single word: love.

Ideas and thoughts

The relationship between education, family and society, definitely it is very similar, are talking of an era where respect for parents and teachers was fundamental, in terms of education, as it was traditional, behavioral, without innovations, little experiential classes. and of course that the directors of the school, people higher than the "master Keatting" because they did not see the way teach well, saw indiscipline, too much freedom parents trusted to 100 percent in the institution where they deposited their children. Society demanded races where is served the community doctor, lawyer, etc., regardless of whether the student-son wanted to dedicate the rest of their lives to it.

If the teacher tries to teach differently, is clearly the type of class, innovative experiential teacher touches student, does it know itself, recognised even giving wrong answers thanks its stakes, known every one of them, it leads to previous knowledge or exemplifies with life, this makes students more interested in its class and stuff like.

Mr. Keatting tries to teach differently, what is your reading of the innovation as a proposal? The writer Dr. j. Evans pritchard Whitman tries to change the way of teaching traditional mind was taught that it was the behavioral way by way of teaching students to think for themselves and be free thinkers.

Dangerous Minds

Dangerous Minds

Characters:

Michelle Pfeiffer
George Dzundza
Renoly Santiago
Wade Domínguez
Courtney B. Vance
Bruklin Harris
Robin Bartlett
Marcello Thedford

Ideas and thoughts:

This practice consists of viewing and individual comment in writing of the film dangerous minds. In this film, can be identified most of the aspects dealt with in the theoretical subjects, with special emphasis on issues such as ways to motivate students, the new approaches to teaching, the characteristics of adolescents, the importance of the socio-cultural and family context, etc., as well as the characteristics that must have a teacher as a leader in its class of students.

An inexperienced teacher is hired as a teacher of a group of tough guys, each of which is a social problem in itself. But, even though the task is difficult and the rigidity of the direction of the Center does not help, willful teacher will try to that boys reach graduation.

I have chosen this film because it shows us how to educate from the conflict and the capacity that a teacher must have to overcome any problems. In the film we see the passion and interest of the teacher Louanne for exercising his profession as a teacher. It tries to convey to students their values as a person, so that in future not only left them the concepts acquired in the Institute, but also have an education in values that perfect them as people.

We could also use this film to realize that in our classroom, we can have children with special needs, and we need to know that without surrender we can provide them with necessary assistance.

Pay it forward

Pay it forward

Sometimes the simplest idea can change everything.

A good proposal

The pyramid of goodness

Easy it seems to be better

Why don't we change the world?

When we are begginer teacher, we sometimes do not know what to do, but this teacher show us that we must inspire our children to change the word, because they have the power of do it, eventhough we may find some problems, you must believe in yourself to make it real.

Characters:

Kevin Spacey (Eugene Simonet)

Helen Hunt (Arlene McKinney)

Harley Joel Osment (Trevor)

Jay Mohr (Chris Chandler)

James Caviezel (Jerry)

Main ideas:

The film shows us the ability to spread of human goodness, through small supportive gestures made by each person. These gestures allow, in a small way, change the world and that all persons, regardless of age, have the power to do so.
A teacher with equally full of scars, the face and the soul chooses to ' chain of favours; Mimi Leder' assign students the task of finding ways to improve the world, at least to the community that surrounds them. One of the boys, take seriously the proposal of his teacher and invents an ingeniously simple system: your idea is to help three people into something that they could not produce themselves, and instead that the favor is returned you to one, every one of these three people must help to three others, and so on.
It has a clear message : do good to others without asking anything in return.
